VISUAL ARTIST
EXPLORING MOTHERHOOD, CARE AND FAMILY IDENTITY
Britt Dorenbosch is a visual artist, DJ and mother based in the Netherlands. Raised by a biologist and an artist, she creates layered collages, paintings and papier-mâché sculptures that explore the intimate world of motherhood, family and nature.
Her work centres on the quiet, charged moments between parent and child; small hands, grounded feet, a reaching touch. Dorenbosch asks what we inherit and what we pass on. Beneath the tenderness lies a sharp gaze at the space our society truly offers mothers, and a personal search for belonging across generations.
